Anchorage Brewing

Jolly Pumpkin Night. Saturday 5/16 2-9pm. They will have 4 of Jolly Pumpkin’s wild beers from Dexter, Michigan on tap for you to try, as well as 3 of the collaborations that they have been working on for the last year.

1st Craft Beer Cocktail: Ginger Shandy

Monday, May 11

Photo scavenger hunt on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Participants can email karen@hoodoobrew.com or tag #HooDooACBW each day. 1 winner will be chosen each day, plus 5 overall winners on Sunday May 17 for great HooDoo swag.

Tuesday, May 12

3-8pm: The Pretzel Chef & Wholee Smokers BBQ in the Biergarten. All-American Vinyl Tuesday. Guest DJ Brady Gross, of Retrograde Media, will spin an All-American set to kick off ACBW 2015.

5pm: BEER RELEASE Keg Tapping – Maibock, a Bavarian strong, golden lager. 
Limited Edition Maibock T-shirts and posters featuring a design by local artist Brianna Reagan will be available for sale at 3pm.

Wednesday, May 13

3pm-8pm: The Pretzel Chef & Wholee Smokers BBQ in the Biergarten

5:15pm: Brewmaster’s Beer Basics Class I

6:30pm: Brewmaster’s Beer Basics Class II
In these classes, Bobby will sample attendees on HooDoo’s craft, giving an in depth teaching about each style, origins, ingredients and brewing techniques. Discussions about common flavors and tasting beer will be included. $20, includes a take-home tasting glass. Limit 20 people each class. Reservation recommended by calling 459-BEER, emailing greatbeer@hoodoobrew.com or registering in the taproom.
