Glacier Brewhouse is an upscale brewpub located in the heart of downtown Anchorage. They have 13 rotating taps and a pretty impressive barrel aging program. The food is top notch and is a great spot in downtown to enjoy a bite and a brew.
Glacier Brewhouse’s 12 Days of Barleywine is legendary. Come to Alaska in December and you won’t be disappointed. Three different barleywines for 12 straight days… it is what dreams are made of!
My faves at Glacier Brewhouse: Big Woody Barleywine, Oatmeal Stout, and the Raspberry Wheat. When on top, try the Eisbock – it is delicious. Oh, and Growler Tuesdays is a thing – $5 growler fills on most beers!
